Along The Strand and South Pacific Street we install boxes with stainless or marine-coated bodies, stainless anchors, and a rubber weather hood over the keypad, because a keypad that takes direct sun all afternoon and salt fog all morning will fade and stick in a year without one. Inland, a good powder-coated box does fine. We will tell you which you need rather than sell the expensive one to everybody.
A lockbox is only as private as its last code. We set up the master and user codes with you at install, show you the reset on the model you chose, and leave a printed card with the steps. When a cleaner, tenant, or contractor moves on, you change the code that day. App-based boxes let you issue a code that works only on Thursday between 9 and noon, then never again, and show you whether it was used.
